On May 14 at 18:00, the second event in the discussion series “How Has the Russian Language Changed in the 2020s?” will take place in Helsinki.


This time, the topic is “Special Military Operation: The Language of War.”We will discuss war euphemisms, official rhetoric, popular irony, and unofficial slang. We'll explore expressions such as “khlopok,” “peredok,” “denazification,” “our boys,” “SVO-im,” “couch army” and many others.
