Opening of the FoReDi Film Club

After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, many of us lost the possibility to travel to Russia or were forced to leave the country. Soon it will be three years since the mobilization became a point of no return for thousands of young people seeking refuge in other countries.Yet we miss our homeland, the warm memories, and the places connected with our adolescence, youth, and early adulthood.

🎬 We invite everyone to join us on September 19 at 18:00 for the opening of the FoReDi Film Club in Helsinki.

On this day, we will take a journey back to St. Petersburg of the early 2000s, indulge in some nostalgia, and watch a warm summer film about love and the city on the Neva.The program includes two films: at 18:00 “The Stroll” (Прогулка), and at 20:00 “Peter FM” (Питер FM).

Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks — we will provide the big screen and a friendly atmosphere. Dishes, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a microwave will also be available if needed.
