Online Event “Russian-Language Literature and Technology”

On September 9 at 18:00 (Helsinki and Moscow time) and 17:00 (Berlin time), we invite you to the online event “Russian-Language Literature and Technology.”

During the event, we will discuss which topics are becoming most relevant for contemporary Russian-language authors, talk about publishing and translation, and explore the impact of artificial intelligence and social media on literature.

Our guest will be Georgy Urushadze, founder of Freedom Letters publishing house and the “Books of Freedom” competition. From 2005 to 2022, he headed Bolshaya Kniga (Big Book), Russia’s largest literary award.

Participation is free, but advance registration is required via the registration form.

Registered participants will receive a Zoom link one day before the event.
