On Saturday, a demonstration took place in front of the Russian embassy in Helsinki under the slogan "Love is not extremism!"

The event was held to mark the anniversary of the recognition of the "LGBT+ movement" as extremist in Russia. The demonstrators aimed to draw the attention of European society to the monstrous violation of fundamental human rights in Russia, as well as to support the LGBTQ+ community residing in Russia.

The event was attended by activists and representatives of Finnish organizations SETA, Tema, and Initiative FoReDi.
