Members of the Initiative FoReDi team are organizing a letter-writing campaign to support political prisoners ahead of the New Year holidays

šŸ“ On November 6 from 16:00 to 20:00Ā in the city of Kemi, the association Kemi Against War will hold a letter evening in support of political prisoners.

The organizers invite both Russian- and Finnish-speaking residents of Finland — interpretation from Russian will be provided, as well as assistance in translating letters to political prisoners.

Address:Ā Kemin kulttuurikeskus, Marina Takalon katu 3, Auditorium ā€œAquarium.ā€

For any questions, please contact Maksim.

šŸ“ On November 13 from 18:00Ā in Helsinki, participants of the ā€œPrisoners of Conscienceā€ project will host a postcard evening in support of Russian political prisoners.

The event will take place in the lobby of KulttuuritaloĀ before and after the concert of the singer Monetochka. Everyone is welcome to sign a postcard.

For inquiries, please contact Kira.

āœ‰ļø All letters and postcards will be sent by the New YearĀ to support political prisoners in Russia.

This is especially important today, as many of them live in isolation, cut off from their families and unable to receive support from the outside world. A simple letter or postcard can be a sign of warmth and a reminder that they are not forgotten — that their courage and integrity have not gone unnoticed.

Every word and every signature is an act of solidarity that helps those behind bars keep their hope and strength alive.
