In Oulu, a performance titled “Putin is a terrorist. Freedom and peace are held hostage” was organized, where participants protested against the criminalization of the Russian opposition following the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to designate the Anti-Corruption Foundation as a terrorist organization.

In Uusikaupunki, participants of the picket drew attention to the paradox: the Taliban — previously recognized as a terrorist organization — was removed from Russia’s terrorist list by the 2025 decision of the Russian Supreme Court, while FBK, an organization fighting corruption, was declared a terrorist group.

The Anti-Corruption Foundation, founded by Alexei Navalny in 2011, opened the eyes of many Russians and helped them understand the criminal and corrupt nature of Putin’s regime. Despite constant political pressure from the Russian authorities and disagreements within the Russian opposition, Alexei’s cause continues to live on, and FBK continues to play an important role in investigations and historical documentation of corruption in Russia.
