On August 9 at 5:30 PM, Initiative FoReDi and A-ryhmä invite you to a meeting dedicated to the work of director Zhenya Berkovich and playwright Svetlana Petriychuk.
The evening’s program includes:
An opening address by close friends of Zhenya Berkovich and Svetlana Petriychuk, "Golden Mask" Award winners: playwright Mikhail Durnenkov and theater artist Ksenia Peretrukhina.
A screening of the play Finist the Brave Falcon on the big screen, which became the reason for the "Theater Case," in which the criminal Putin regime sentenced two outstanding cultural figures, Zhenya Berkovich and Svetlana Petriychuk, to six years in prison.
After the screening, you will have the opportunity to write a postcard or letter to support these wonderful women. Volunteers will explain how to properly write letters to political prisoners, distribute postcards and pens, and afterward, all letters will be sent to the recipients.
Tea and coffee will be available at the meeting. If you wish, you can bring small treats to share with everyone.
📍The meeting will take place in a warm, friendly atmosphere in Helsinki, at Ulrika space, Leppäsuonkatu 11.
