Demonstration against the deportation of Russians from Finland

On 19 September at 14:00, near Helsinki Central Railway Station, a demonstration will take place against the deportation from Finland of Russian anti-war activists, conscientious objectors, LGBTQ+ people, and members of persecuted religious minorities.

We demand an end to the deportations of Roman Golikov, Nikita Belov, Olga Belova, Vasily Marinin, Boris Yudin, German Voetski, Vladislav Maslovets, Ekaterina Arapova, Egor Melnik, Anna Oleinik, Ivan Petrichenko, Valentin Sergienko, and all other Russian opponents of the war. People must not be returned to a country where they may face persecution and imprisonment for their anti-war views.

Many Finnish associations and initiatives will take part in the demonstration: A-ryhmä, Aseistakieltäytyjäliitto, Suomenvenäläisten demokraattinen yhteisö, Ruokaa ei aseita, Vapaa Liikkuvuus, Queer Asylum FI, Sitoutumaton Vasemmisto, Helsingin Vasemmistonuoret, and Initiative FoReDi.

Join us and show your support for those facing deportation!
