A Film Journey to the Arctic

š¬On October 10, the FoReDi Film Club invites everyone to embark on a film journey to the Arctic.
For the first time in Finland, there will be a screening of two documentary films about people living and working in the harsh conditions of the Arctic Ocean coast, and about how their personal stories intertwine with this environment.
Programme:
18:00 ā The Last Passenger ShipĀ ā about the last passenger sea vessel serving remote settlements of the Kola Peninsula.
20:00 ā Arctic. CleansingĀ ā about a fearless group of volunteers who set out on an ecological expedition to the uninhabited Vilkitsky Island.
After the screening, the direct participant of the filming, Arctic researcher Nikita Kirillov, will answer your questions.
Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. We will take care of the big screen and a friendly atmosphere. If needed, you can use dishes, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a microwave.
