As part of the DocPoint Documentary Film Festival in Helsinki, a wide range of important and compelling films will be screened.
Antidote is a film about people who oppose Vladimir Putin’s violent regime despite threats, repression, and the murder of political opponents.
At the center of the film is the escape of a whistleblower involved in the development of poisons intended to eliminate the opposition, as well as the stories of journalist Christo Grozev and politician Vladimir Kara-Murza, both of whom became targets of persecution.

In Full Agreement (Korvia huumaava hiljaisuus) explores the lives of Russian-speaking women in Finland who find themselves caught between Russia’s aggression and the increasingly hardening stance of the society in their new home country. It is a story about identity, everyday discrimination, and the struggle to preserve oneself in a world where “Russianness” is increasingly treated as a stigma.

Notes of a True Criminal is a documentary by Alexander Rodnyansky about Russia’s war against Ukraine, presented as part of an endless historical cycle of violence reaching back to World War I.The film combines archival footage with contemporary frontline recordings, focusing not on battles but on human lives — fear, separation, and hope — and how war affects generation after generation.
