Join the “My Russia is in Prison” protest in support of political prisoners in Helsinki on June 29!
On this day, people around the world will protest against Putin's policies: the war he started in Ukraine and the establishment of dictatorship in Russia. By joining this protest, we are drawing the attention of the global community to the increase in illegal detentions in Russia and publicly showing support for all political prisoners, as well as for those who, despite repression, the threat of fines, arrests, and prison sentences, continue to resist the illegitimate government in a totalitarian state and fight for the future of our country.
📍We will meet on June 29 at 3:00 PM in front of the Russian Embassy in Helsinki at Tehtaankatu 1 B.
Bring your posters with you. During the protest, there will be a video recording with messages of support for Ilya Yashin, whose birthday is on this day.
It is better to spend 10 years behind bars as an honest person than to silently burn with shame for the blood your government is spilling.
