In the very center of Helsinki, at the Sanomatalo (Press House), an exhibition titled "I Draw, Therefore I Live" has opened, featuring drawings by Russian political prisoners.
The exhibition, organized by the Russian human rights center Memorial and the initiative group "Sila Pisem" (Power of Letters) in collaboration with Helsingin Sanomat, introduces the public to the lives and artwork of 33 prisoners who have been jailed for their beliefs. The posters display their drawings, stories, and excerpts from letters, along with links to communities where you can support the prisoners.
Entry to the exhibition is free. The building is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 20:00.
