On October 26-27, the second congress of the organization "Deputies of Peaceful Russia" took place in Berlin.
The organization brings together more than 80 Russian deputies at various levels who are in forced exile due to political persecution. These deputies hold diverse political views, but they are united by one main principle — resistance to the Putin regime and an anti-war stance.
Three founders of Initiative FoReDi, municipal deputies from St. Petersburg, are participating in the congress: Svetlana Utkina, Felix Nachalov, and Nikita Kirillov.
Congress participants are developing strategies to support Russians in forced exile and those who remain in Russia. Projects aimed at building democracy in a future peaceful Russia are being presented.
During the congress, there was a meeting with Ilya Yashin, who promised to visit Finland to meet with Finnish politicians and Russian activists.
