Alexei Navalny Memorial Evening

On February 16 at 6:00 PM, a memorial evening for Alexei Navalny will take place in Helsinki.

Two years have passed since the Putin regime killed its main opponent in prison — Russian opposition politician and founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation.

On this day, we will hold a presentation and speak about the process of creating a memorial to Alexei Navalny near the Russian Embassy in Helsinki. The opening of the memorial bench is planned for June this year. As part of the memorial evening, the Oscar-winning documentary film “Navalny” will also be screened.

You are welcome to bring flowers and candles. After the memorial program, we will walk together to the Russian Embassy — approximately a 20-minute walk — to lay flowers and candles at the site of the future memorial.
